White Rose Mocha Latte
This white rose mocha latte is a fragrant concoction of fresh brewed coffee, milky white chocolate, rose syrup and milk foam. Its warming, comforting on a cold day. You can replace the milk with any non-dairy milk of your choice for a vegan version and it's still going to be as delicious. I recommend not using a very strong brew because that will overpower the delicate floral notes of rose but you totally can if you wish. This latte is cozy, beautiful to look at, smells divine and a perfect cuppa for the holidays. Oh and its super easy to whip up too!
Ingredients (Serves 4, 5 oz servings)
- 2 tablespoons of fresh ground coffee (more if you like a stronger brew)
- 10 oz hot water
- 1.5 cups whole milk
- ½ cup white chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp rose syrup (adjust to desired level of sweetness)
- Milk foam
- Rose dose petals
Start by freshly brewing your coffee in hot water. You can use a French press or a coffee machine to do so. In a small saucepan combine the milk and white chocolate and set on a low stove. Keep stirring gently until the chocolate has melted. The mixture will be smooth. Take off the stove and add the rose syrup. Mix well.
Pour the warm milk mixture in a cup and add brewed coffee to it. Stir gently and add as much milk foam as you like. Before serving, sprinkle a few Rose Dose rose petals for a beautiful presentation.
