Not sure what to do with left over rose petals? Create your very own bath bomb!
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Baking soda
- Citric acid
- Rose essential oil
- Coconut oil
- Rose petals
- Mold of your choice
- Witch Hazel
Mix 2 parts baking soda, 1 part citric acid, and all the other ingredients together. Add as much rose essential oil and spritz of witch hazel until you are happy with the scent.
- Make sure not to go too overboard with your oils and spritz, a little can definitely go a long way. If you use too much, it can cause a runny consistency. Some people say you should search for the consistency you get when building a sand castle.
- If you want to color the bath bomb like we did, be sure to use natural pigment colors to make sure you do not use something that will stain your tub, or worse, hurt your skin.
Add rose petals directly into the mix or sprinkle them into the mold and then press your bath bomb mix on top.
Place them in your mold and let it sit for a few minutes to give them time to harden. Once they have hardened, take them out of your mold and let them fully dry for 24 hours.
Lastly, enjoy a romantic spa day relaxing and gaining the amazing benefits of rose!
